On March 14th  2020, the students of Westmoreland High School left their art classes for the last time. They left unfinished sculptures sitting on the windowsill, and in progress paintings on the drying rack. They left art supplies and sketchbooks in the closet. And they left a box filled to the brim with artwork that would be displayed in the end of the year Art Show this May. This show is a compilation of that artwork.

 

As a teacher, I am so proud of the time and effort these students have put into their work this year. As a Global Pandemic whirls around them, these kids have put their hearts and souls into their art, and I am so moved and proud to be their teacher.

 

This website is a tribute to the art students of Westmoreland High School. We may not be able to have an in-person show, but this online gallery will showcase your talents forever.
